In the company Orodjarna EMO Celje they had a problem, when they found themself in the position of gaining a large business for a foreign partner. This business could have been done with their machinery, but they had too small gas hardening furnaces which enabled the hardening without oxidation of the surface.
Those furnaces are very expensive and practically they do not exist in such size in Slovenia. The company decided for a classic technology of hardening in radiant furnaces.
