Metallization for long life of steel surfaces!
Metallization is an excellent way of protection of different steel surfaces from corrosion. It can be also done on field. Thicker coatings of zinc or aluminum can be used as an independent protection in many corrosion environments.
The technology is suitable for anticorrosive protection of large objects (bridge construction, high-voltage columns) as well as for renewal of smaller parts, such as bearings, beams, which are exposed to different effects:
- Atmospheric exposure
- water
- industrial water
- sea water
- gases
What do we offer you?
Our references are assurance, that your decision to work with us is correct.
Metallization guns are designed for spreading of small particles of melted metal on to a rough surface..
Materials for metallization:
- steel,
- other metal (zinc, aluminum, copper),
- ceramics (dust, wire or stick).
Zinc and aluminum are well corrosion-resistant. But if we are talking about higher chemical burdening, we use CrNi alloys, which are much more resistant.
Metallization layers are excellent, but also very demanding layers for applying of protective materials, therefore we recommend thinner layers. The combination of thinner layers of metal varnish can suite all anti-corrosion demands, they protect from high temperatures and they also suite all esthetic demands.
Preparation of work pieces before metallization
Before metallization the work pieces have to be degreased and blasted with a rough sand, in order to make the surface rough and the material has a good attachment.
